I've recently started producing images for local bands.
Below are images from two shoots.

The studio images are of This Modern Life, a wicked Brighton based band. And the Live shots are of Rocket Kid from Basingstoke. Click the names to listen to their tunes.

Farming

These two images are the first from a series about the changing state of British farming and its overall diversification and decline.
Coming from a farming family this is a topic very close to my heart. As the project continues i will focus on the people directly effected and how they cope with this change.

Welcome

My names Richard Cole and at present I'm studying Editorial Photography at The University of Brighton. The course title implies creating work specifically for a publication but allows a much more creative and conceptual responses to projects.

My work tends to take a documentary style around current issues, but saying that i have produced pieces around archiving and am due to work with a band next week. So actually all in all it looks like i have quite a varied style! regardless of that i hope you enjoy the work. Please feel free to get in contact for any further information.
